Breakfast Club
At Reignhead we offer a very popular Breakfast Club for all children from Reception up to Year 6. This is staffed by our Lunchtime Supervisor, Miss Parkes and a member of Office Staff.
Breakfast Club runs from 7:40am – 8:40am every day. Children are able to choose from a wide range of breakfast items including fruit juice, toast, cereals, crumpets and beans. There are also a range of activities on offer such as: reading, board games, jigsaws, Lego and colouring. At the end of the session, pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are escorted by a member of staff to their classrooms. Pupils in Years 3 to 6 make their way to their own classrooms independently.
As a school, we are committed to providing a Breakfast Club and evidence suggests that children who attend clubs such as ours benefit from improved attendance and punctuality as well as increased concentration during lessons. Breakfast Club also helps to develop children’s social skills and provides a valuable childcare service for working parents.
Breakfast Club costs £4.00 per child per day – this, we are sure you will agree, represents excellent value for money and includes both admission and breakfast.
All payments for Breakfast Club will need to be made through ParentPay. Breakfast Club is free of charge if you are entitled to income-related Free School Meals. If you think you may be entitled to income-related Free School Meals, please speak to a member of the office team.

After-School Clubs

Year 3 - Year 6 only - Thursday Gardening Club £32, for 8 weeks, the first session is 3rd September. Payable on Parentpay only.
Reception - Year 6 - Thursday Martial Arts is £20 plus £15 for new members (for Karate suit). The first session is 10th September. Payable by correct cash to the School Office, or by BACS transfer to the provider.
Reception - Year 6 - KRS After School Clubs (see below) £31.50 per club for 7 weeks, except for Friday which will be £27 for 6 weeks as we have an INSET Day on Friday 23rd October. The KRS after school clubs will start in the second week back - week commencing Monday 7th September.
Payable by correct cash via the School Office or by BACS transfer directly to the provider.

Wraparound After-School Club
Wraparound After-School Club
As you will remember, we partnered with KRS in September 2025 to extend our wraparound offer until 5:45pm. Despite our best efforts to promote and grow the provision, take‑up has remained low and the arrangement is running at a significant financial loss. After careful consideration with governors, we cannot continue to subsidise the later service.
With effect from the start of the Autumn Term (September 2026) the arrangements will be:
School-led wraparound care will continue on the school site but will finish at 4:30pm each day. This will be led by Reignhead Primary School staff and will be chargeable at £4 per session. These sessions will start the first week back at School.
This after-school club will take place in Silver Base (the building on the key stage 2 playground), with access available through the Grange Road entrance of the school. Parents are required to use the buzzer on the gate to call for staff to allow access when collecting their child. You should collect your child by 4:30pm.
There will be a new booking form issued towards the end of each half term for the start of the following half term. You will need to complete a new booking form each time even if your requested days will remain the same.
